Derek Johnson joined Rick backstage on The B2T Show on Sep 8 for a wide-ranging conversation that starts where it should—with faith. Johnson opens on the death of his father in May, the Assembly of God preachers in his family line, and the lesson he says shaped everything since: prayer without action is a man leaning on a shovel praying for a hole. From there he moves into the material he is known for. Johnson argues that the executive orders and national emergencies signed since 2018 form a coherent framework most people have never read, and he walks through his reading of it — the September 2018 election-security order, National Guard deployments to polling places, and why he believes the 2026 midterms will not be delayed.

The second half turns to Venezuela, Iran and data centers. Johnson lays out his view of the Venezuela operation as multi-tiered — oil, regional security, and the litigation involving voting technology companies — and traces the Iran situation back to the national emergency Jimmy Carter declared in November 1979.
