Tonight on The B2T Show, Rick Rene sits down with Ian Trottier, author of High Stakes Treason: How John Brennan Compromised American Security for Millions. The interview airs live at 5:30 p.m. Central, three weeks before former CIA Director John Brennan is due before a federal grand jury in Fort Pierce, Florida, on October 15.
High Stakes Treason, published in 2025 with a foreword by Roger Stone, is built from open-source records: SEC filings, ethics waivers and White House visitor logs. Trottier alleges that Brennan kept a financial stake in a government contractor linked to The Analysis Corporation, the firm he led before joining the Obama White House, while he oversaw the nation's counterterrorism work through the National Counterterrorism Center. The book contends that the stake grew from $50,000 to $4.85 million as Congress raised counterterrorism funding.

Brennan has not been charged with any crime. His attorneys say he is a subject of a Justice Department investigation into whether former officials conspired against President Trump, and the target of a separate inquiry into whether he lied to Congress about the 2017 intelligence assessment on Russia, an allegation his lawyers call false. None of the reporting on the grand jury connects it to the stock allegations in Trottier's book. How the two relate is one of the questions Rick will put to him tonight.
Trottier, an entrepreneur who started the Discussions of Truth podcast in 2016, will walk through what The Analysis Corporation did for the government, which records he says show the stock ownership, where listeners can check those records for themselves, and why he uses the word treason.
